SQUATFest is a conference for birth workers, students, parents, and advocates, organized by the folks that bring you SQUAT Birth Journal. SQUATfest is like walking into the pages of our quarterly birth journal, with a focus on reproductive justice, evidence-based practice, full-spectrum care, and much more. The event features the wisdom of elders alongside new and emerging voices working to push the boundaries of birth work and what it means to work for reproductive justice. SQUATfest 2013 took place in San Francisco, and SQUATfest 2015 brought people together in New Orleans. Make sure to check back on our web page and follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information on future events!

Thanks to everyone who joined us in New Orleans!

If you attended our SQUATfest 2015 in New Orleans, please make sure to take a moment to fill out our SQUATfest 2015 Feedback Form. Your input is crucial in future planning!  You can also give feedback for individual workshops here.

We’ve put together a great page of resources sourced from our workshop presenters and circle session leaders. You’ll find tons of web recommendations in addition to presentation slides from SQUATfest workshops. Check it out!
